The North Fork Kings Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) has adopted a new assessment rate of $12 per acre for fiscal year 2026-27 (July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027) to support the implementation of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) and the GSA’s ongoing efforts to achieve sustainability by 2040.

Assessment revenues will fund essential GSA activities, including implementation of the Groundwater Sustainability Plan, groundwater monitoring, regulatory compliance, data management, and stakeholder outreach.
