The North Fork Kings GSA is moving forward with the development of groundwater allocations and invites all growers to be part of the process. While the water accounting framework, which is the foundation to developing a groundwater allocation, is still in development at the Kings Subbasin level, the GSA is focused on maintaining a clear and open line of communication with landowners from the start.

Join us at the Public Workshop Series
To build understanding and transparency throughout this effort, the North Fork Kings GSA is hosting a workshop series where GSA staff will break down the allocation and gather thoughts and feedback from our landowners as the allocations and the rules and regulations for the allocation are developed. Each workshop will build on the one before it, so we encourage landowners to attend each one.

The first session in our Groundwater Allocation Workshop Series will introduce landowners to the basics of groundwater allocation, why it’s needed, and how groundwater use is measured under an allocation. This session will help you understand what’s ahead and why it matters. Topics covered include:
